Meet

Connie K. Chung (Researcher and educator working with Catalyst 2030)

Dr. Connie K. Chung (she/her) is a researcher and educator working at the intersection of practice, policy, and research, supporting organizations to develop the next generation of leaders to live well together and to build more caring, just, and sustainable communities. She recently served as a Design Strategy Fellow at Foster America. She assisted a county’s Human Services Agency in designing and implementing a youth-centered, integrated system of supports for foster youth to improve education, health and employment outcomes. She co-designed life skills workshops with youth and community partners and developed youth leadership structures. The work called on her experiences as a systems thinker, organization and relationship builder, and change enabler at Harvard University, as well as a former foster parent and former educator. She was delighted to use her research, program, and policy skills in a public service role to promote equity and efficiency and to help our most vulnerable and resilient youth thrive.
