Building Peace through Care

Dr. Karambu Ringera is the Founder and President of International Peace Initatives (IPI) in Meru, Kenya. IPI works to build a new generation of leaders through peace and ethical leadership programs, and provides orphans, women living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of violence, and communities with the tools and resources to move from violence, poverty, and crisis to stability and self-reliance. Dr. Ringera has an M.A. in Theological Studies, with a peace and justice emphasis and has been recognized for her cutting edge work in innovative and regenerative models of development and peacebuilding, women's rights and global leadership programs around the world.
