Laura Hay
Laura has spent the last seven years working to transform education systems for the 21st century - from grassroots initiatives to systems change efforts. With an M.A. in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Linguistics from Duke University, Laura is now working as the Strategy and Partnerships Manager for the Edge Foundation. As part of the Edge Future Learning team, she collaborates with an international network of partners to deliver Community Connected Learning across the UK. Prior to joining the Edge Foundation Laura spent five years at Ashoka – the oldest and largest network of social entrepreneurs – working on their Empathy Education and Young Changemakers initiatives. In this role, she led the search, selection, and management of over 90 Changemaker Schools, and spent a great deal of time distilling patterns of powerful practice.
