The call to dream new futures and to live into them now feels especially strong in these times. This moment is both one of deep suffering and pain and one of transition and possibility. We firmly believe that this phase marks a pivotal metamorphosis and transition, with young people harboring the potential seeds for shaping future systems and frameworks. Our focus throughout this Festival will center on assessing the current state of our systems, dissecting the paths that led us here, and envisioning trajectories that steer us towards life-affirming futures.

We aim to discover ways of living that resonate with our deepest longings, delving into how diverse learning approaches and the cultivation of wisdom can guide our actions. What is the YxY Learning Festival?

Our annual YxY Learning Festival isn't just another event—it's a three-day learning journey, designed and hosted by youth for education activists of all ages to unite. It’s a convergence of brilliant hearts and minds, a fusion of ideas, and a celebration of curiosity. Every year, we host this Festival in alignment with the International Day of Education and in partnership with Learning Planet Festival, to culminate a week of events around the globe with a space to reflect, reimagine, and renew commitments to co-action in service of people and planet
